Adidas Superstar Shoes
50 years on from its inception, the Adidas Superstar Shoes have been updated in all their shell-toed glory. The iconic toe box has been finished in off-white, matched by the outer side panel which has been carefully made from nubuck and cut through by three serrated stripes in black layered under Superstar branding. On the reverse, the inside panels flip the traditional colour scheme with black nubuck with contrasting white stripes. Additional details include golden stamps on the tongue and a trefoil logo on the black leather heel tab.
Despite having their roots as a basketball shoe, the materials used offer durability to withstand the most rugged skater. Additionally the textured rubber mid and outsole provides essential traction both on the board or on the court whilst cushioned padding around the collar delivers crucial support with each step.
A true icon of the streets, the Superstars have been seen on everyone from NBA star Kareem Abdul Jabbar to Run DMC. Their blend of iconic style and unrivalled durability made them essential to the influence Adidas had in skateboarding even in its earliest days.
