Converse CTAS 70's Ox Archive Print Shoes
Made from lightweight cotton canvas, the Converse CTAS 70's Ox Archive Print Shoes are suited for wear throughout the summer (something additionally reflected in this archival colourway). The backdrop has been dressed in black with a contrast flame design which includes tones of turf orange, cyan and yellow extending from the toe box down to the lateral panels. Egret detailing can be seen across the stitching, cotton laces and midsole (which also features a black trim). Final branding includes a small stamp at the heel.
For this collection Converse is going back to the Chuck Taylor roots in the seventies, with its timeless midsole providing not only great style but improved traction and durability through flip tricks. A cushioned sockliner has been added to offer impact protection whether you’re on the board or on the court.
Converse is a staple of American life, having been founded in the early 1900’s as the first rubber soled shoe company. Within twenty years it was supplying basketball sneakers, birthing the legend of the Chuck Taylor silhouette - which has since been updated to suit skateboarding as well as lifestyle.
